Dialogue 41: Bikram Yoga
Charlie is on his way to work at 7:30 am on a freezing cold Monday morning. As a manager in a bank, his life has been taken over by the stresses and worries of his job. In today’s recession, the world of finance has been hit like never before. Already a competitive institution, the banking world is not a very pleasant one to be involved with right now. With the economy in tatters, tensions are high. At the moment, in the office, you could cut the tension with a knife. Charlie has big bags under his eyes and has a larger frame because the stress has caused him to comfort eat and he has piled on the pounds. Having quit smoking three years ago, Charlie considers taking it back up as a way to de-stress himself. If only he could find another way of releasing the tension. Just then, he hears the following advertisement on the radio…

Charlie feels like his prayers have been answered, he’s going to call them when he gets to the office and sign up for the introductory course. He thinks it will be just what the doctor ordered!
