Each student has his own strengths and weaknesses. Native teachers qualified in Linguistics We always employ graduate teachers who can speak at least two languages, only if the teacher has been through the process of learning thoroughly himself can he identify where his student is blocking and help him. The average English Teacher speaks through reflex; maybe he speaks well but cannot explain the logic behind it all. In our thirty years of experience we have learnt the importance of bilingual native teachers and we have seen the results. Preparation After we have finished a thorough level test allow the student 30 minutes to prepare the lesson by listening and repeating a recording but without reading and then a further 15 minutes visualizing the lesson. Why Prepare This gives the student the possibility to learn new expressions and vocabulary, this avoids those painful moments of word searching. It also keeps both the student and the teacher focused on a specific topic and ensures certain fluency during the conversation. Private English classes The next 45 minutes is spent alone with the teacher, the nature of the lesson depends on the level of the student. However we can say that there are three levels 1. Answering questions about the prepared material 2. Giving a Summary of the prepared material and talking generally about it 3. Expressing a point of view about the material and defending it. Efficacious This method really works due to its natural approach. If you think about how you learnt your maternal tongue, you listened ,then imitated, someone corrected you and then off to school to learn the grammar. The majority of schools fill your head full of rules and mystify the whole process. With us you speaking level has to been as good as or better than your writing level.
